Sustainable Procurement Policy

 

As an advanced enterprise in the production and research and development of cathode materials for new energy batteries, Wanrun actively responds to the national sustainable development policy. In our procurement process, we create social value for stakeholders through commitments to environmental, social, and ethical business practices to achieve the goals of efficient resource utilization, environmental protection, and social responsibility. Wanrun's sustainable procurement policy aims to promote sustainable practices in the procurement process, thereby reducing negative environmental impacts, enhancing social responsibility, and creating economic benefits. This policy is not only a requirement for the group itself but should also be promoted throughout the entire supply chain.

Business Ethics: The highest ethical business standards should be upheld in all business dealings. Suppliers should adopt a zero-tolerance policy, prohibiting any and all forms of bribery, corruption, extortion, and embezzlement. No bribes, commercial kickbacks, or other forms of undue benefits should be offered or received. Fair trading, advertising, and competition standards must be followed. In the implementation of the raw material procurement policy, the provisions and requirements of the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas and the Responsible Minerals Initiative should be observed.

Social: All suppliers must ensure the rights of their employees, respect internationally recognized human rights standards, and must not participate in or support any human rights abuses. Child labor is strictly prohibited, and the protection of minors is implemented in accordance with the law. All forms of forced and compulsory labor are strictly prohibited, as are discriminatory systems and practices.

Environment: Environmental responsibility is an important part of producing world-class products and a key aspect of responsible production. We promote suppliers' environmental responsibilities through sustainable procurement management. Suppliers are required, on the basis of environmental compliance, to adopt environmentally friendly measures to minimize adverse impacts on communities, the environment, and natural resources, while ensuring public health and safety.
