On April 11, the launch meeting for four group standards, namely the "Guideline for Carbon Management of Lithium-ion Battery Cathode Material Enterprises," "Technical Specification for the Production of Lithium-ion Battery Anode Materials," "Guidance on Carbon Footprint Evaluation of Ternary Lithium-ion Batteries," and "Guideline for Carbon Management of Battery Manufacturing Enterprises," initiated by the Standardization Working Committee of the China International Center for Economic and Technical Exchange (hereinafter referred to as the "CICEE Standardization Committee"), was successfully held in Shiyan, Hubei Province. Wang Xianfeng, Secretary-General of the CICEE Standardization Committee, and Liu Jun, Director of the Shiyan Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, more than 30 representatives from leading enterprises in the new energy industry participated in the meeting.
First, the company's technical expert Cao Minglei introduced the company's roadmap, products, technologies, and achievements. Wu Songkai, head of the Dual Carbon Research Department of the Research Institute, introduced the current situation of the industry and the development of enterprises, and shared the company's work achievements in carbon emission management and product carbon footprint.
Wang Xianfeng, Secretary-General of the CICEE Standardization Committee, summarized the discussions on the standards. He stated that the four group standards, including the "Guideline for Carbon Management of Lithium-ion Battery Cathode Material Enterprises," four group standards, are based on existing relevant technical indicators and requirements in the industry, and follow the principles of comprehensiveness and systematicness to establish a carbon emission management standard system for the lithium-ion battery industry that meets the needs of China's industrial development. This fills this gap in the field's standards, and plays a significant role in promoting technological innovation and low-carbon development of lithium batteries.
After the meeting, the participating representatives visited the company's Shiyan lithium battery cathode material production base. The experts gave highly of our company's technological innovation capabilities and production level.
