From May 17th to 18th, Wang Wei, Party Secretary and Director of the Provincial Science and Technology Department, Liu Zhitai, member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Director, and their entourage came to Shiyan to investigate the city's key industrial technology innovation platforms and high-tech enterprises. Leaders from the Achievement Department, High-tech Department, Basic Department, and Office of the Provincial Science and Technology Department participated in the investigation, accompanied by Shiyan municipal leaders including Hu Yaobo, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee; Liu Rongshan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Executive Deputy Mayor; and Zhao Zhe, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary-General of the Municipal Party Committee.
Wang Wei and his entourage visited Hubei Wanrun New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Dayun Automobile Co., Ltd., Hubei Automotive Industry College, and Dongfeng Off-Road Vehicle Co., Ltd., conducting on-site investigations into the development of high-tech enterprises, the construction of technological innovation platforms, and the cultivation of key industries.
Wang Wei fully affirmed the achievements made by the city's high-tech enterprises in scientific research and development as well astechnological innovation. He urged Shiyan to firmly establish a new development concept, actively guide enterprises to seize opportunities, focus on the goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, and accelerate the development of green new energy. It is necessary to fully leverage the supporting role of technological innovation in the high-speed development of enterprises, enhance the ability to transform "money into paper" and "paper into money," and transform innovation capabilities into industrial competitiveness. Active efforts should be made to cultivate talent and introduce high-end intellectual resources to build a talent team that promotes the accelerated development of enterprises.
